Olema Campground Sept. 22nd thru 25th

G-ma & Grandpa just returned from a weekend camping trip to Olema Campground with the Tracy Trampers.  It's time to start our blog.  We'll talk about this last weekend, and then perhaps let you in on our last  several months, just to give you an idea of where our heads are at. :-)

So, this weekend started out from our very good friends back 40 (or maybe back 3) RV resort.  We had made plans to spend the weekend with the Tracy Trampers, a group of high school friends from Tracy High, that somehow adopted us as their foreign exchange students.  The trip from Placerville to Olema was quite nice.  We didn't get lost this time, the weather was great and traffic was minimal.  We arrived to find all the Trampers sitting around a campfire, with dinner waiting.  The following day, all the girls were going on a 9 mile hike from the campground out to the beach and back.  And maybe they would extend it by another mile each way... and so it was that G-ma made it thru an 11 mile hike!.  Way to go G-ma!.  Grandpa on the other hand stayed with the boyz and played a couple rounds of extreme Bocce ball, and then made it into town to have a few at the Old Western Saloon in Point Reyes Station.

Sat. was more eating and Bocce, and a trip back into town to shop and check out the redhead above the bar at the Old Western Saloon....

Sun. was our exit day.  We packed up, hitched up and made our way back to our Placerville RV spot.

Notice the 3 fire pits..
These are great.. no smoke following beauty around the circle.
